Becky Attempts to See Justin Bieber: Never Say Never...

...but it was sold out.

Instead, I saw The Company Men, and for real WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.

All I wanted tonight was a little pick-me-up.  I wanted some punk-ass sixteen-year-old Selena-Gomez-perving helmet-headed twerp to use the magic of 3D glasses to look me in the eye and say, "Bitch, never fucking say never."

Instead, Ben Affleck looked me in the eye and said, "Becky, your life is terrible and I would like to reinforce why in the most painfully realistic way possible."

So, my Unsolicited Movie Review for The Company Men is as follows:

Don't go see this movie if you're unemployed.

Bieber.  Matinee.  Tomorrow.  It's ON.

  2. Never heard of it, but I definitely won't see it then. Although, I think there's a rule that you should never listen to anything Ben Affleck says. Because, well, obviously he's wrong. Your life is NOT terrible, it just hasn't started to be brilliant in the career department just yet. You'll get there!

  5. Sasha, I recommend you skip the next entry!

Affleck is a terrible person for doing that to me. Bieber?! Did the opposite. BIEBER WINS.

  6. Wow, I am so far behind with your blog! Sorry about The Company Men making you feel like crap. I can totally relate, although I love Ben & thought his last movie, The Town was excellent. But the subject matter in this one is not something I want to sit & watch either. At this point I feel totally unemployed with how bad the self employment has gotten for me lately. I think I may have to go apply at Walmart as a damn greeter soon, seriously. VERY scary thought.

  7. I have not seen The Town, but you are, like, the fourth person to bring it up to me when I said I didn't like this movie! I should probably rent it so that Affleck can redeem himself in my eyes. :D

And sorry you're feeling unemployed. These are not fun times, to be sure... :( Fingers crossed that things get better for all of us!!
