Winter overstays welcome, irritates person with blog

Depiction of the blogger.
MEMPHIS, TN - Winter, the season best known for bringing frostbite and a slow, gnawing erosion of one's will to live, arrived late this year. On the heels of this colossal social blunder, it has refused to move along within the time frame manners dictate.

"It's fucking March, for crying out loud," earth resident Becky Heineke bitched to her blog, after running out of live humans to talk to about this.

While typing, Heineke noted the sound of sleet falling outside, to be followed later in the evening by snow, and wondered about the last time she saw the sun. She then sighed dramatically at the thought of de-icing her car, and contemplated the wholly unthinkable notion that tomorrow she may be forced to remain indoors on a Thursday night.

"What horrid atrocity did I commit in a previous life to deserve being snowed out of a Thursday run?" she shuddered, seeking answers from anyone who might be reading this.

As of publication, the weather had no comment.

    3. It's in the 60s here, too! Although it's been rainy for days and will be for the rest of the week...but this weekend, it'll actually look and feel like spring. I can't wait. :)

    4. wow you were busy writing ... and I have been too sick to read anything on the computer - which rarely happens, I like to spend time surfing and reading when sick ... but this time there was only surfing pointlessly or sleeping.

Sooooooooooooo here is to spring - we are somewhere near the 80s yet, and I am somewhat back on my "healthy" self.
Hope you enjoyed St Patti as you suggested on your last post - it is no deal over here, so I would miss it if it wasnt for facebook lol

    5. I'm sorry you've been sick! I'm actually sick myself right now. :( I had a really good time on St. Patrick's Day, but I was already feeling bad going into it and I didn't do myself any favors by staying out late the way that I did. :-/

I'm glad you're feeling better! While today it's cooler and rainy again, it's been incredibly nice the rest of the week! And this weekend it will once again be warm and sunny. Hooray for spring. :D
