Seven Years Ago Today!

"It was a major break for a small-time blogger like me, with my cursory knowledge of Jake and six months of intermittent, amateur blogging experience behind me."

On July 15, 2006, a girl I'd never met took the risk of letting me join her in writing an already-wildly-popular blog.  Lo and behold, my stint at Jake Watch turned into one of the best things I've ever allowed myself to do.

May all of you be able to look back on indulgences in your own lives with the level of pride, gratitude, and wonder-at-the-sheer-absurdity that I have for my days ruthlessly exploiting Jake Gyllenhaal's post-Brokeback Mountain fame for my own personal gain.

      :D SO, SO grateful for all the wonderful experiences and people that came into my life because of Jake Watch. And wow, I guess that means we've been friends for seven years now (!!!).
