What a remarkable ending.

    1. Yes! (Although I would recommend at least watching The Dark Knight beforehand, if not Batman Begins, too. You can totally get engrossed in the story regardless, but I watch TDK over the weekend and was glad I did.)

I went into it not really knowing what to expect or how dark things were going to get, but it was pretty damn amazing, actually. Nolan's movies are just on a different level than most others.

(And on a totally different topic, I'm sorry I missed your call earlier!! We will talk soon! :))

  2. Ohhhhhhh I still havnt seen it. Tomorrow night hopefully

I wanted to rewatch them both again, I cant remember anything about batman begins. I have The Dark Knight on DVD and finally managed to talk Mark into watching it with me through the surround sound (that movie is AWESOME on sound) Anyway, he hooked up SS but not through the dvd player just through the pay tv, so needless to say we didnt end up watching it. Now i wish i had. Oh well... nothing googling the synopsis wont fix tomorrow!

    1. Ooh, Sam, let me know what you think!!! I went out and bought Batman Begins after I saw it and now that I've seen both that and The Dark Knight again, I want to see it a second time.

But you'll totally be find reading a quick synopsis. It definitely can stand on its own. I hope you love it!

  3. LOVED IT!! I ended up watching the other two movies and so glad i did. It was a bit far fetched at times but hey, its Batman. I picked up the robin thing right at the beginning but totally didnt see the twist coming with Marilyn. What annoyed me the most was how incredibly OBVIOUS it was that it was filmed in NYC, its like they didnt even try and cover it up at all! Bloody brilliant otherwise!

    1. You were so much more on top of things than me because I *completely* missed the Robin thing until the end!!! I also gasped out loud at the Marilyn twist.

I do agree on the NYC thing; when I was watching Batman Begins, I was struck by how different that Gotham looked than the Gotham of the other two movies. I know that as the story changed (and the money), so did the filming, but that was one of the very few continuity slips that stood out to me.

But at any rate, I'm so glad you liked it!!!! I don't know how it is that no one I know seems to have seen this movie (or those that have weren't half as excited as I was), but I've been waiting for someone to love it with me. :) I really want to see it again...and maybe I will this weekend... Probably my favorite movie so far of this year. :D
