Becky Heineke: Still just a little more famous than you are

Well, now...who is that fetching young(ish) lady in the white coat, staring 90 degrees in the wrong direction?  Could it be your author?!

It is!

Yes, that is me, along with my father, my uncle Mike, and a few neighbors during the 2014 Great Backyard Bird Count. We made it into the official GBBC e-newsletter. My Aunt Joan took the above picture, and now I am the face (or at least the back-of-the-head) of the Audubon Society.

(I don't know birds at all. I just show up to my parents' annual gathering because there are always mimosas at some point.)

So there you have it. I am dominating all manner of media once again. God, it's good to be me...
